Wong Kar-wai
I'm a film fan so sometimes movies influence me very much. I like some of them either for exciting plot or for beautiful shots. But there are some directors who make unique movies indeed. So one of my favourite directors is Wong Kar-wai. I want to tell you about him.

He was born in Shanghai in 1958, but when he was five his family moved to Hong Kong. At first he wrote scripts for movies. As a director he made his first film in 1988. It called "As Tears Go By”. Now Wong lives in Hong Kong with his wife and son King.

Although Wong has experience of a screenwriter, he makes his films without a clear storyboard. His work is distinguished by improvisation on the stage, what often leads to delays in shooting schedule. The most interesting feature in his films is disorder of story. Among his movies there are "In the Mood for Love”, "Chungking Express” ,” 2046” , "My Blueberry Nights”.

His films are very colorful . Moreover when you see his films it seems that you can even  feel the smell and the taste. They is some  mix of European and Western culture in his films like city Hong Kong, where the director makes them.

One of his movies helped me to find an idea for my student work. It was an inspiration for me. His films are also very romantic and they make me dream. And I advise you to see his films because I think it can be interesting for everyone.
